SPEKTRA DEEP IMPREGNATION

SPEKTRA DEEP IMPREGNATION is a base coat for the impregnation of mineral surfaces such as concrete, plasters, asbestos-cement and wood-cement boards, gypsum boards, as well as old lime plasters and coatings. It is colorless and penetrates excellently into the substrate, even on less porous surfaces. It uniformizes and reduces absorption, strengthens loose and chalky old coatings, improves the adhesion of new coatings, and reduces their consumption. It also blocks the penetration of water-soluble salts from the substrate to the surface.

It is applied by roller or brush. It is not thinned and is ready to use. It can also be applied at low temperatures down to –10°C, provided the substrate is not frozen. The substrate must be clean, free of loose layers, dust, and impurities. In case of wet cleaning, the surface must be completely dry before application. Larger cracks and damages should be filled with a mineral leveling compound.

It covers from 6 to 8 m2 per liter in a single coat, depending on the absorption and roughness of the substrate. Dry and ready for the next coat after 24 hours. It is not suitable for thermal insulation systems based on polystyrene (Styrofoam). It is not tintable.

A 2.5 l pack covers approximately 15 - 20 m2 of surface per single coat, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
