SPEKTRA SILICONE IMPREGNATION

SPEKTRA SILICONE IMPREGNATION is a base coat for indoor and outdoor impregnation of lime and lime-cement surfaces before applying SPEKTRA silicone facade paint. It penetrates deeply into the substrate, uniformizes and reduces absorbency, strengthens poorly bonded and old chalky coatings, improves the adhesion of new coatings, and reduces their consumption, while maintaining the vapor permeability of the substrate.

It is thinned with water in a 1:1 ratio. It is applied by roller, brush, or spraying. Minimal working temperature is +8°C. The substrate must be clean, free of loose layers, dust, and impurities, and completely dry before application. Larger cracks and damages should be filled with a mineral leveling compound.

Theoretical coverage is 10–12 m2 per liter of diluted product in a single coat, depending on the absorbency and roughness of the substrate. The next coat can be applied after 12 hours. It is colorless and water-thinnable.

A 5 l pack, thinned in a 1:1 ratio, yields 10 l of diluted product and covers approximately 100–120 m2 of surface per single coat, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
