SPEKTRA DECOR GRUND

SPEKTRA DECOR GRUND is a pigmented primer used as surface preparation before applying decorative wall coatings, such as SPEKTRA Decor Topaz and SPEKTRA Decor Quarz.

This primer ensures good adhesion of the final decorative coatings and levels the substrate's absorbency, achieving a more uniform final appearance of the decorative layer.

It is suitable for interior and exterior wall surfaces and adheres well to new mineral substrates, as well as old dispersion coatings of varying quality. Due to its good coverage, it can also be used on smooth and low-absorbent surfaces before applying a decorative coating.

Before application, the surface must be clean, dry, and solid. Weakly bound layers, dust, and impurities must be removed, and larger cracks and damages filled with appropriate mineral-based materials.

The coating is applied by roller or brush in one or two coats, depending on the substrate condition.

A 5 L pack covers approximately 50 to 60 m2 of surface in a single coat, while practical consumption depends on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
