SPEKTRA STAIN BLOCK

SPEKTRA STAIN BLOCK is a water-based primer intended for blocking water-soluble stains on indoor and outdoor surfaces. It effectively blocks stains from nicotine, soot, spilled water, tannins, wine, juices, coffee, colored pencils, and markers and prevents their reappearance after the application of the topcoat. It does not cover stains but blocks them, while coverage is achieved with the topcoat.

It is applied by brush, roller, or spraying. It is not thinned and is ready to use. Minimal working temperature is +5 °C. The substrate must be dry, solid, and cleaned of dust and loose particles. Surfaces affected by mold should be pre-treated with SPEKTRA SANITOL, and after drying, the mold should be removed mechanically. Dispersion paints for interior walls or facades of the SPEKTRA brand are used as a topcoat.

It covers up to 30 m2 per liter in a single coat, depending on the absorbency and roughness of the substrate. Dry and ready for the topcoat application after 24 hours. It is translucent and has a semi-matte final appearance. It is not tintable.

A 5 l pack covers approximately up to 150 m2 of surface per single coat, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
