BORI HIGH-LAYER WOOD STAIN

BORI HIGH-LAYER WOODSTAIN is a topcoat for the protection and decoration of wood in indoor and outdoor spaces such as windows, doors, shutters, fences, paneling, log cabins, garden houses, and garden furniture. It forms a rich silky film and provides extended wood protection from external influences. It contains wax which increases the water repellency of the coating, contributes to the dimensional stability of the wood, and is elastic, so the protective film does not peel or crack.

It is applied by brush or roller. It is ready to use and does not require thinning. The minimum working temperature is +5°C. Wood must be dry, with moisture up to 15% for conifers and 12% for deciduous species. The surface must be sanded and cleaned, and wax, resin, and grease removed with NITRO thinner. For outdoor use, the application of BORI THIN-LAYER WOODSTAIN with biocide W is recommended according to the coating system.

It covers from 16 to 20 m2 per liter in a single coat, depending on the type and finish of the wood and the application method. Dust dry in about 7 hours, and the next coat is applied after 24 hours. It is available in colorless and 11 standard shades that can be mixed together. It can be tinted online before ordering according to standard BORI shades.

A 0.75 l pack covers approximately 12 - 15 m2 of surface per single coat, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
