TESSAROL ACRYLIC ENAMEL FOR RADIATORS

TESSAROL acrylic radiator enamel is a glossy topcoat intended for the protection and decoration of iron radiators and radiator/hot water pipes in indoor spaces. It does not yellow, is resistant to temperatures up to 120 °C, dries quickly, and has no unpleasant odor. It is environmentally friendly, water-thinnable, and resistant to household cleaning agents.

It is applied with a synthetic fiber brush, microfiber or felt roller, or by spraying. It can be thinned with water as needed, and for air spraying by 5 to 10%. The minimum working temperature is +8 °C, and air humidity less than 80%. Rust must be removed mechanically, and grease and impurities cleaned with NITRO thinner. For unprotected iron radiators, the system specifies 1 to 2x TESSAROL acrylic UNI primer and 2x TESSAROL acrylic radiator enamel, while for old coatings, 1x TESSAROL acrylic UNI primer and 1 to 2x topcoat enamel are recommended.

It covers from 10 to 12 m2 per liter in a single coat, depending on the structure and finish of the substrate and the application method. Dust dry in about 1 hour, touch dry in 2 to 3 hours, and the next coat is applied after 8 to 10 hours. It is available in a white shade. It is not tintable.

A 0.75 l pack covers approximately 7.5 - 9 m2 of surface per single coat, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
