TESSAROL ENAMEL FOR GALVANIZED STEEL

TESSAROL enamel for galvanized sheet is a primer and topcoat in one product, intended for the protection and decoration of galvanized steel sheet. It is used for galvanized roof sheets, gutters, fences, containers, as well as copper pipes for central heating. It gives a silky gloss and is characterized by good adhesion to non-ferrous metals, fast drying, and good resistance to weather influences and light.

It is applied by brush, roller, or airless spraying. Thinned as needed with TESSAROL Nitro thinner. The temperature of the paint, air, and substrate must be at least +5 °C. For galvanized sheet, the surface must be cleaned with a mixture of water, ammonia, and detergent, then sanded with a synthetic abrasive cloth and washed with water. The use of wire brushes and steel wool is not allowed. For hot-dip galvanized sheet, light sandblasting is mandatory. Old coatings must be cleaned, sanded, and damaged layers removed.

It covers 7 to 9 m2 per liter in one coat, depending on the application method and shade. Dust dry in about 10 minutes, dry to touch in 1 hour. It can be recoated with a brush after 0.5 to 3 hours or after 48 hours. It is available in white and 7 standard RAL shades. A 0.75 l pack covers approximately 5 - 7 m2 of surface per single coat.

TESSAROL Nitro thinner is used for thinning and cleaning tools.
