TESSAROL UNIVERSAL PRIMER UNI

TESSAROL UNI primer is a universal primer intended for the protection of iron and steel surfaces, galvanized sheet metal, copper, aluminum, hard PVC, and wood in indoor and outdoor spaces. It adheres excellently to various types of substrates and protects metal from rusting using anti-corrosive pigments. It allows for fast drying, so TESSAROL enamel can be applied after just 3 hours.

It is applied to previously prepared and cleaned surfaces. Wood must be dry, with maximum moisture of 15% for conifers and 12% for deciduous wood. Metal surfaces must be cleaned of rust and grease. Galvanized sheet metal and hard PVC are washed with a mixture of water, ammonia, and detergent, then lightly sanded and rinsed. It can be applied by brush, roller, or spraying with thinning using TESSAROL thinner up to 15%. Minimum working temperature is +5°C.

The coating is based on a special alkyd binder with a matte finish. It covers 7 to 9 m2 per liter in a single layer, depending on the application method. It is available in a white shade. It is not tintable.

A 0.75 L pack covers approximately 5.25 - 6.75 m2 of surface per single layer, depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate. It is intended for universal protection of small and medium-sized metal, PVC, and wooden surfaces.

For exterior wooden surfaces, BORI impregnation with biocide W is used before application, while TESSAROL enamel, TESSAROL professional enamel, TESSAROL acrylic enamel, TESSAROL Metal Express, or TESSAROL radiator enamel are used as final layers, in accordance with the systems recommended in the technical data sheet.
