TESSAROL WOOD FILLER

TESSAROL wood putty (knife grade) is a putty based on an alkyd binder intended for repairing defects and damage on wood, such as cracks, dents, and scratches. It is used as part of the wood protection system in indoor and outdoor spaces.

It is applied with a putty knife or spatula to a dry, sanded, and clean wooden surface. Moisture concentration in conifers must not exceed 15%, and 12% in deciduous wood. Residues of wax, resin, and grease must be removed with NITRO thinner. Minimum temperature of the putty, air, and substrate is +5°C.

Composition: alkyd binder, solvent, pigment, and fillers. Shade: white. Gloss: matte. It is ready for use and does not require thinning. Sanding is possible after 6 hours at +20°C and 65% relative humidity, with an intercoat interval of 24 hours. Drying time is extended in conditions of lower temperature and higher humidity. It is not tintable.
