Description:

Tikkurila Valtti Primer: A colorless oil-based wood primer designed for external coating of sawn and planed wood, carpentry, logs, and impregnated wood before surface treatment. Characteristics: A clear oil that penetrates deep into the wood, providing protection against water absorption and reducing the risk of cracking in wood layers and paint. Ensures long-lasting durability when combined with Tikkurila paints for exterior use. Shade: Clear. Consumption: 8–10 m²/l for planed surfaces, 4–5 m²/l for sawn wood surfaces. Note: The Valtti Primer should be applied as early as possible in the construction phase. Apply the primer once, and the topcoat should be applied as soon as possible, at least 24 hours after the primer application.
